    • SUWS Wilderness Program first opened its doors in 1981 in Shoshone, Idaho. The program runs for a minimum of 28 days and is suited for teens experiencing trouble such as cutting, aggression, poor grades and poor lifestyle choices. Boys and girls ages 11 to 17 are welcome in to the program which is rooted in boot camp theories involving wilderness skills and survival training. The program is geared towards helping emotionally concerned teens learn self-worth through the boot camp experience.

    • Catherine Freer Wilderness Therapy has been in existence for more than 20 years and the program has helped more than 300 teens work their way through some troubling episodes.
