Summer Camps in Western New York
A large concentration of summer camps in western New York take place near the highly populated cities of Buffalo and Rochester. Summer camp options range from day camps to overnight camps, and provide kids with an option that allows them to socialize with other children their age that enjoy the same interests. These interests include everything from sports and computers to science and the arts.

Happyland Day Camp

Recreation is the focus of the Happyland camp in Amherst, located in the outskirts of the Buffalo. Kids ages 3 to 10 receive instruction in a variety of arts and sports including archery, music and crafts.

DCT is a full-fledged, week-long performing arts camp, which offers instruction in acting, singing and dancing for kids between the ages of 5 and 18. The camp lasts all day and kids will have a chance to perform in the showcase at the end of camp.
YMCA Camp Cory

The YMCA of Greater Rochester offers multiple, week-long, overnight camps for kids between the ages of 7 and 17 on Keuka Lake in Penn Yan outside of Rochester.
