Schools have changed since parents went to school and there are now laws that schools need to follow about handling these kinds of situations. POLICE INTERVENTION: If school is unable to help on alternative is to call the police, right there from the school. Parents will have to come to the school. Call each time and file a lawsuit if you have too. Enroll in that martial arts class. FIGHT: This may backfire, so make sure you talk it over with your counselor, parent or teacher. If the bully makes a very clear move to hit you - you do not have to take that first hit. No matter what you are already going to be suspended by the school if the kid hits you. It will be considered mutual fighting. So, make sure you get in the first punch, make it count and walk away. Do not EVER provoke the bully on purpose or use this as excuse to fight. It is simply, totally, self defense. If you are in group of bullies this is not going to work at all. MOVE: If you have to move to a new school that might be better than continuing on in a school that has no power to deal with it. Look for a school that is smaller and has less ratio of teacher to students. Look for a school that has good programs for the things you are interested in.
