Storytime at the Library
-
Each month, the Houston Public Library hosts events for toddlers and their parents. The events include storytelling, play groups, sing-alongs, and arts and crafts. The monthly events are held at multiple branch locations throughout the city. Toddlers are exposed to books and get an opportunity to interact with others their same age. The events take a multiple-sensory approach to learning, focusing on developing motor skills, preparing and exposing toddlers to reading and promoting interaction and sharing with others their age.
