How to Talk to Teenage Girls
For parents, building a rapport with their teenage daughters is difficult at best. Teenagers undergo a period of transition and development that can be overwhelming. Female teens experience a more drastic period of growth than males do. The onset of menstruation, breast development and self-esteem issues begin in the teen years. Talking to teenage girls requires a great deal of sensitivity. Also, teenage girls tend to be rebellious, more withdrawn and distant. It takes patience to gain trust. The surest way to get teen girls to open up is to find out their interests.
