The Hudson Music Festival is held in August. The three-day celebration features free music performances throughout the city. Teens can check out hundreds of musicians in a variety of genres performing at parks, restaurants, galleries and other venues. The Hudson Elks Flag Day Parade is usually held the Saturday before Flag Day, which is June 14. An entertaining parade is followed by a celebration at 7th Street Park with vendor booths, music, dancing and finally fireworks at sundown. The Hudson Pride Festival occurs in mid-June. This weekend long celebration of LGBT culture includes boat cruises, a parade and dance parties.
