  1. Thunderbird Youth Academy

    • Thunderbird Youth Academy is a program for high school students ages 16 to 19. It is located in Pryor, Oklahoma. Thunderbird Youth Academy is designed specifically for high school dropouts and only accepts applicants without a diploma. Students enrolled at Thunderbird live on-site and are educated in the program's eight core objectives: Academic Excellence, Life Coping Skills, Job Skills, Health and Hygiene, Responsible Citizenship, Service to the Community, Leadership/Followership, and Physical Fitness. After the 22-week period ends, case workers continue to follow up with students for an additional 12 weeks. Tuition is free, and graduates receive three high school credits.

    Abundant Life Academy

    • Abundant Life Academy (ALA) is a Christian boarding school serving troubled teenage boys and girls. ALA offers five different programs designed to help teens with academic, drug and behavioral issues. ALA helps troubled Christian teens through a mix of religious and academic programs. Interscholastic athletics are offered at ALA, with students choosing from baseball, basketball, football, horsemanship and cheerleading.

    Circle of Care

    • Originating in 1917, Circle of Care (COC) is a Christian non-profit organization that helps at-risk Oklahoma teens. COC has two locations in Oklahoma: one in Gore that serves as an all-boys school, and one at Tahlequah serving all girls. Children as young as 12 and as old as recent high school graduates are admitted to COC, regardless of their parents' financial status. At COC, 10 teens live in one cottage with a married Christian couple and receive schooling on-campus or from the area's Gore and Tahlequah public schools.

    Tulsa Boys Home

    • The Tulsa Boys Home (TBH) is a boys' school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, catering to troubled boys ages 13 to 17. TBH offers help to teenage boys facing mental health, substance abuse and behavioral problems. The program offers treatment for up to 64 boys with a boarding option for students dealing with substance abuse issues. School is on-site, with teens being taught a basic curriculum of math, history, English and science. Classes number between 10 and 12 students. TBH employs a variety of different therapies to help students heal, including Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
