Missed Period
-
One of the first signs that may indicate that you have conceived is missing a period. However, some pregnant women may still experience some bleeding around the time they expect to have their period. The bleeding that may occur at this time happens when the fertilized egg attaches to the uterus. Doctors call this implantation bleeding.
Increased Appetite and Cravings
-
Many women notice an increase in their appetite when they are in the early stages of pregnancy. Also, most women have cravings for particular foods. A woman's appetite increases because the body needs more vitamins and nutrients for the baby that is growing inside. When you are having a craving, eat nutritious foods and try to avoid foods that contain empty calories.
Swollen Breasts
-
Another early sign that many women experience are swollen or tender breasts. Breast soreness is caused by the production of progesterone and estrogen in your body which causes blood to rush to your breasts, making them swollen and sore. Also, your breasts are preparing for milk production so you can feed your baby when she arrives.
Nausea

Nausea is one of the most common signs that you have conceived. While it is not known exactly why most pregnant women become nauseous, it is believed to have to do with the rising levels of the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin and estrogen during early pregnancy.
Fatigue

Most women feel very fatigued in early pregnancy due to all the hormonal changes the body is going through. Many women feel tired until they reach the second trimester. Try to get at least eight hours of sleep at night. If you can, take a nap during the afternoon to help you get through the day.
Frequent Urination
-
When you become pregnant, the amount of blood and other bodily fluids increases. Your kidneys become more efficient and help your body get rid of waste through your bladder. This process will make you urinate more frequently than before. This symptom may start as early as six weeks.
Constipation
-
Another symptom that women feel when they become pregnant is constipation. The increased amount of progesterone in your body causes the food that is ingested to move more slowly through the digestive tract and results in constipation. Taking a fiber supplement may alleviate your constipation.
