Note whether child care is available with the class. Some classes offer child care for participants, but you need to register at least one week prior to the class and fees will apply. PEP charges $12 for one child and $8 for every additional child per class. For an eight-week class, child care fees are $96 for one child and $64 for an additional child; fees for a 10-week class are $120 for one child and $80 for each additional child, as of 2013. PEP may allow you to take a baby under age 1 into the class with you if you make prior arrangements. Register for a class by calling PEP at 301-929-8824 in Maryland or 703-242-8824 in Virginia. Print out the PDF registration form, complete it and mail it to PEP in Kensington, Maryland. You can also fax your registration form to 301-929-8834. If you create a user name and password on the PEP website, you can register for classes online. Enclose payment in full for the class and for any needed child care when you submit your registration form. If you call, fax or use the online registration form, provide your credit card information on the order form or with your registration. If you mail your payment, enclose a check, or write your credit card information on the form. Arrive for the scheduled class with enough time to settle your child or children into child care before the class begins. Youngsters sometimes need extra time acclimating to a new environment to feel comfortable, so if you think your kids will need this time, schedule your arrival accordingly.
