How Much Should I Pay for an Overnight Nanny?

Overnight nannies can provide parents with much-needed relief, such as the opportunity to go on vacation or help with a newborn.     • Many nannies will charge half of the waking-hour rate when doing overnight stays. For example, if the nanny charges $14 per hour for daylight hour work, she charges $7 during the children̵7;s sleeping hours. Other nannies may charge a flat rate for overnight work.
