Located on the bottom floor of the Center House at Seattle Center, the Children̵7;s Museum of Seattle offers rotating exhibits, a toddlers only area, and rooms with various themes, such as arts and crafts, reading, building and more. Kids can do everything from putting on costumes and performing on stage to grocery shopping and ̶0;working̶1; in a restaurant to climbing a mountain and exploring cultures from Asia to Africa and South America.

Seattle Children̵7;s Theatre provides family-friendly entertainment focusing on new works and theater education. Productions are geared toward different age groups so parents should check the website before ordering tickets. There are afternoon and evening performances Friday through Sunday (and some Thursdays) each season which runs September through June. During the summer, theater camps and classes are offered to kids from ages three to 18.

Woodland Park Zoo

The Woodland Park Zoo features more than 300 animal species on its 92 acres. Programs offered include classes, camps, daily activities, overnight adventures and a summer concert series. At certain times of day, kids can even feed the giraffes. There is also a carousel, ̶0;Zoomasium̶1; and a butterfly house. The zoo is open every day of the year except Christmas.
