The center offers 300 hands on experiences through various exhibits including themes of space, life and the ocean. The COSI also has workshops for toddlers, as well as science-themed summer and day camps. Prices are $12.50 for adults and $7.50 for children ages 2 to 12.

The Columbus Metropolitan Library offers up a healthy collection of childhood favorites from Eric Carle to Dr. Seuss in addition to toddler story times and special events. The Columbus Zoo is most widely known for its famous director, Jack Hanna, who has been featured on almost every talk show from Johnny Carson to Ellen DeGeneres. Having turned to director emeritus in 1992, Jack Hanna is proud to have transformed the zoo into an environment rich with hands-on activities for families and updated enclosures for healthy and content wildlife. The Columbus Zoo also offers classes specifically targeting toddlers in separate groups for both 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds. These classes require an additional and separate admission from the regular park admittance. Price for general admission to the park is $11.99 for adults while children up to 9 years pay only $6.99.
