There comes a time in just about every girl's life when it will be necessary to wear a bra. It seems that girls are developing younger and younger with each passing generation. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. It's a fact of life. Here's how to ask mom for a bra.

      Beat around the bush. If you're too embarrassed to come straight out to ask your mom for a bra, drop little hints. Put on a shirt that makes it obvious that you need a bra and ask your mom how the shirt looks.

      Go shopping. While at the mall with your mom, spend some time in the lingerie department. Pick out a few bras and show your mom how cute they are. Ask for her opinion. The mere fact that her young daughter is looking at and picking out bras will be a major wakeup call. Be prepared with tissues. Mom's tend to get a bit weepy when their young daughters show signs of growing up.

      Stroll down memory lane. Ask your mom about her first experience wearing a bra. After relating her story, she may look at you and realize that its time for you to get a bra.

      Come straight out with it. If all else fails, look your mom in the eyes and say "Mom, I need a bra."
