How to Find Your Kid's Internet Browsing History
Many parents face a tough problem when it comes to their children and the Internet; it's one area in their child's life that can be very difficult to control. With cyber bullying going on, popular social networking sites where kids can meet potentially dangerous people and a whole lot of pornography, parents have a right to be concerned about their children's well being. If you want to find what your kids are searching for or looking at on the Web, there are two ways---looking up the past browsing history and pulling up the Temporary Internet Files (see Tips for more on Temporary Internet Files).

Search Browsing History
Open your Internet browser. Click on "Tools" at the top toolbar. Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu. Select "Settings" under Browsing History. Click "View Files" to see the Internet history. If the history as been deleted, view the Temporary Internet Files. Temporary Internet Files - Windows Vista
Click on the "Start" button and select either "Run" or "Search" from the menu. Type into the search bar "C:\Users\User name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files" to open the files. If your computer is not set up to the "C File," continue to Step 2 to manually open the file. Click on the "Start" button to access your computer's main menu. Click on "Control Panel." From the Control Panel, select "Internet Options." When Internet Options opens, click on the "General" tab. Click "View Files" or "Open" to access the files. Click on the "Start" button to open the Start Menu. Click on "All Programs" on the left side of the Start Menu. Scroll down and click on "Disk Cleanup." Select or check the box next to Temporary Internet Files. Click on "View Files" to access all of the files. Click on each folder to see the Web content and browsing searches.
