  1. Bear Creek Pioneers Park

    • Bear Creek Pioneers Park has more than 2,100 acres. The park features a wildlife habitat and your kid will see peacocks and donkeys in addition to pigs.     Houston Fire Museum

    • The Houston Fire Museum opens at 10 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The entrance fee is $3 for adults and $2 for children and senior citizens. Activities include a tour of the facility and a visit to see antique fire vehicles.     • Old MacDonald̵7;s Farm is 25 minutes from Houston in Humble. Visitors can take rides on the ponies or purchase feed to give to the other animals.     • Open daily, the Children̵7;s Museum of Houston charges less than $8 for admission.
