List of Pranks for Kids
For children, life is full of learning opportunities. Sometimes it can seem like life is all work and no fun. When that cloud settles over a group of children, harmless pranks can help relax the mood. Pranks are ways to make children laugh and realize that in the grand scheme of things their worries may not be as serious as they appear.

Shaving Cream and Whipped Cream Fun
-
Kids can have food fights with items that are easy to clean off, like whipped cream or shaving cream. These items can be used to fill empty paper pie tins with and have whipped-cream pie fights. If your kids are camping, celebrate the last night of the campout with a little kids-against-adults shaving-cream battle. Just be sure to hide your bottles so others don't raid your supply.
Funny Sounds
-
There are a variety of ways for kids to pull pranks on their friends with sound. One classic is the whoopee cushion. Fill it up with air and slide it under an unsuspecting friend just before he sits down. Record a tape of ghosts or other sounds that are haunting and play them in his bedroom before he goes to sleep. You can also play mind games with him by imitating his parents voices when he is out playing and tell him to come home.
Pranks With Food
-
When kids are eating with friends, they can pull a few pranks with their food. Switch the salt and pepper in the shakers so kids put the wrong seasoning on their food. Of course the containers can't be see-through or your prank will be easy to discover. This can also be done by switching the ketchup and mustard to the opposite containers. Loosening a lid on the salt or pepper shaker is a classic, so it all comes out when a person intends just to use a little.
School Pranks
-
Replace classmates supplies with items that will surprise him. Add some red food coloring to his glue container so it surprises him when it comes out red. Replace his pens with ones that are out of ink. Hiding his textbooks around the classroom will make it hard for him to keep up when the teacher asks the class to read along. Another classic is putting a note on his chair such as "smelly" with tape on it and then waiting for him to sit on it and walk around school the rest of the day with it stuck to his backside.
