The center is staffed with six teachers and is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The children of students, faculty members and employees of the college are eligible for placement. The center accepts children from 8 weeks to 5 years old and is licensed by the New State Office of Family and Children Services. The learning program is focused on education through play and the center believes in serving as a support system for families, rather than serving as surrogate parents. It is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

The center offers two distinct programs: a day care center and a preschool. The day care center, which is open from 7:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on weekdays, charges $10 for registration and a fee of $3.75 per hour or $15 per day. The preschool program is free of charge and has a morning session and two afternoon sessions. The preschool is also open to the children of local citizens, subject to screening for eligibility.
