How to Make Shaving Cream Paint

Bathtime is always fun for kids if there's a chance of getting messier rather than cleaner. Making these shaving cream paints and using them in the tub is surefire way to make a rainbow mess. You'll probably have to rewash the kids after they enjoy themselves painting in the tub, but it'll be a fun activity they'll ask for again and again. Here's how to make shaving cream paint and to enjoy a colorful time with the kids.

Things You'll Need

  • Shaving cream
  • Food coloring
  • Ice tray or muffin tin
  • Paintbrushes
  • Sponge
  • Spoon

Instructions

      Spray a little shaving cream into each muffin tin or ice tray hole.

      Add a drop of food coloring into each. Mix color in with a spoon.

      Serve the tray to kids in the tub. Let them paint their bodies, walls and the tub with fingers, paintbrushes and sponges.

      Encourage them to mix some of the tins contents together to make different colors.

      Rinse kids, trays and tub off when finished.
