List of Daisy Girl Scout Patches
When the founder of the Girl Scouts, Juliette Gordon Low, was in first grade she was nicknamed Daisy by an uncle. Daisy Scouts, in kindergarten and first grade, wear a large daisy with 10 petals on the front of their tunic -- the petals are earned and sewn on -- as the girl learns about the Daisy Scouts. Daisy scouts can also earn patches to sew on to their tunics.

World Thinking Day is a day for thinking about girls and women all around the world. The World Thinking Day patch can be earned by making a drawing, doing a puppet show or telling a story about girls in other countries. A popular World Thinking Day activity is standing in a circle and when someone shouts out something good to be or have -- like kindness, playing a musical instrument, of having a baby sister -- all the girls who have what was shouted out jump into the center of the circle. The activity continues until all the girls are in the circle.
