Instructions

  1. Pouch Sling

    • 1

Determine which side you want to carry the baby on. If you want to carry your baby on the right side then the sling needs to go on the left shoulder. If you want the baby to be on your left side, place the sling over your right shoulder.

    • 2

Slip the sling on over your head and place it on your shoulder. Looking in the mirror the sling should be laying diagonally across the front of your chest.

    • 3

Open the two layers of fabric and place your infant inside. Make sure your infant's breathing isn't obstructed from being pressed against the sling or your body. The sling shouldn't feel too tight or too loose when the baby is in it. If it is, take the baby out and adjust the sling.

    Ring Sling

    • 4

Gather the tail end of the sling in one hand and the rings in the other. Thread the rings of the sling by gliding the tail end through the center of both rings.

    • 5

Double-back and thread the tail on the outside ring and through the middle of the inside ring. Make sure the fabric is not twisted and is evenly distributed through the rings.

    • 6

Place the threaded sling over your head and onto your shoulders. Place the shoulder pad underneath the shoulder that will be supporting the sling.

    • 7

Place your baby in the pouch and hold her in the position that is comfortable for you and her. Tighten the sling ring by pulling the tail end until you can remove your arms without losing the position of the baby.
