Instructions
Use with Newborn and Young Babies
Put on the Baby Bjorn straps, being sure the logo is on your left side and the buckle clips are pointing down. Keep the cross of the straps at the bottom of your shoulder blades for comfort and ease when carrying your baby. Adjust the sliding buckle to the appropriate position for your baby's height. The Baby Bjorn carrier can adjust from 21 to 23.5 inches in length. Most infants can fit comfortably with the buckle positioned at 21 inches. Slide the clips located at the bottom of the carrier into the buckle clips on the straps. You will hear a click sound when the clips are locked in place. Slide the left side latch into the left side groove. Each will be marked in red. You will hear a click sound when it locks into place. Hold your baby close to you and place him in the open side of the Baby Bjorn carrier. Place your baby's leg and arm fully into the holes on the left side of the carrier. Repeat step 5 for the right side of the Baby Bjorn carrier (it will be marked in blue), while continuing to hold your baby close and ensuring her arm and leg are fully in the holes. Secure the head support button into the latch on each side. You can adjust the head support by pulling the straps on the top of the carrier. Attach the fabric leg straps located at the base of the carrier for safety if your baby weighs between 8 and 11 pounds. Adjust the straps on the Baby Bjorn carrier until your baby is close and high on your chest. His head should be right below your chin. Use with Older Babies

Fold the head support down and secure the buttons in the latches on either side of the carrier. Keep the arms of a younger baby in the armholes. An older baby can keep his arms free to move and hold things. Removing Baby from the Carrier
Release the fabric straps if you previously secured them. Hold your baby with one arm while undoing the head support. Unlatch one side of the Baby Bjorn carrier by pressing up and sliding the latch from the groove. Remove your baby carefully from the carrier and place her in her crib or on the floor. Remove the carrier and straps from your body and store until next use.
