How to Assemble the Chicco Pack N' Play

A Pack N' Play is sometimes used for a baby to sleep in instead of a crib, and sometimes it's used as a playyard while the baby is awake. A Pack N' Play is a compact version of a crib that is easy to take along when you travel and to move from room to room in your home. They are also fairly easy to put together and take apart, making it ideal for traveling.

Instructions

  1. Playard

    • 1

Remove the Chicco Pack N' Play from its bag.

    • 2

Open the velcro and unwrap the pad from around the Pack N' Play.

    • 3

Pull the handle in the middle of the Pack N' Play upwards to ensure all of the joints are unlocked.

    • 4

Pull up on all four sides, one by one, in the middle until the joints lock securely into place. Each side has two joints.

    • 5

Push the center of the Pack N' Play floor downward until the floor is flat and all four feet are on the ground. Fold the handle on the floor flat against the floor.

    • 6

Locate the lower hinges along each long side of the Pack N' Play. Push them down to lock them into place.

    • 7

Lay the pad into the bottom of the Pack N' Play with the padded side facing up. Thread the velcro straps through the slots in the floor of the playard and secure them underneath.

    Bassinet

    • 8

Remove the pad from the bottom of the Pack N' Play.

    • 9

Lay the bassinet piece over the top of the Pack N' Play with the snaps facing down.

    • 10

Connect the bassinet tubing together and run them through the pockets on each side of the bassinet piece.

    • 11

Locate and push all eight of the bassinet clips securely over the edge of the Pack N' Play. Fasten all snaps at the corners and insert all toggles into their loops along the sides.

    • 12

Insert the pad into the bottom of the bassinet with the padding facing up.

    Changing Table

    • 13

Slide one long metal pole through each long side of the changing table piece.

    • 14

Secure the curved metal tubes onto each short side of the changing table piece, clicking them into place at the ends of the long tubes. The metal tongue in the long tube should click into its corresponding hole in the short tube.

    • 15

Secure the nets connected to the short tubes over the metal end pieces. Flip the changing table over to secure the velcro tabs underneath.

    • 16

Position the changing table over the Pack N' Play and clip the buckles on the ends of the changing table into the buckles on the side of the Pack N' Play. Do this on both sides of the Pack N' Play.

    • 17

Secure the changing table to the Pack N' Play further by zipping the flap on the long side of the changing table to the flap on the side of the Pack N' Play.
