Baby Cart Cover Instructions
Infant carrier safety seats lock onto the front of shopping carts, making it easy to grocery shop with your baby. However, parents who use a convertible car seat don't have this option, making solo shopping trips with baby nearly impossible. Luckily for these parents, there are products available to help them prop their baby up in the front of a shopping cart. These same products also help protect their baby from dirt and germs, too.
Instructions
Put the cover on the child seat of the shopping cart, ensuring that is it securely fastened to the back, sides and handle. Each type of cover snaps in different spots, so search the edges of the cover for any loose snaps and secure them. Place a blanket or even a small diaper bag between your infant and the side of the cart if your baby needs the extra support. Some covers come with built-in pillows on the sides to alleviate this problem. Carefully push your baby around in the cart for a few minutes to ensure that he is stable and will remain upright during your shopping trip.
