Graco Playpen Instructions
Many parents find playpens to be an item of great convenience. Initially, playpens were designed to be a safe place to lay your baby down for a nap, or to play while you worked around the house. Today's playpens, such as those manufactured by Graco, offer a bit more than their predecessors did. Features include a bassinet option, changing area, added toys, sometimes even storage space. A playpen can appear confusing to assemble. With some direction and patience your baby will be enjoying their playpen in no time.

Instructions
Assembling the Pack 'N Play
Lay all parts out to ensure that you are not missing any pieces. Stand Pack 'N Play up and unlatch velcro strips. Remove playpen mattress and set aside. Unfold playpen. Grab each top rail and snap into place. You may find it easiest to snap the small side rails into place prior to the larger rails. Tilt the playpen towards you. Push the inside of the playpen down. You will hear a snap when the floor of the playpen is in place. Place the mattress pad inside the playpen with the soft side up. Thread the velcro loops on the bottom of the mattress pad through the base of the playpen and secure. If you have a playard sheet, you can put it on the mattress pad at this time. If you plan to use the bassinet component of the Pack 'N Play, do not put the mattress in until after Step 5. Lift the bassinet component and snap the four clips to the playard rails. Connect the hooks that are on the bassinet component to the Pack N' Play frame. Feed the two broad bars through the bottom of the bassinet. Stretch the fabric of the bassinet around the edges of the Pack N' Play and pull taut. Unscrew the door of the battery pack and install one D-LR20 battery. Reach under the bassinet component and grab the cable. Insert the cable into the battery pack. Center and secure the battery pack with the velcro straps. Remove screws from the electronics module and unfasten the battery door. Install three AA-LR6 batteries and replace door. Attach the electronics module to one of the long arms of the Pack 'N Play. Insert the playard mattress into the bassinet, tucking the corners in snugly. The mattress should lay completely flat. Insert bassinet canopy into receptive channels and snap into place. Secure the velcro straps on each side of the canopy. Attach toys to the velcro straps on the canopy roof. Folding the Pack 'N Play
Lift the mattress from the basket. Unsnap the electronics module by grabbing and lifting firmly off the Pack 'N Play. Unhook the bassinet component from the Pack 'N Play and place to the side. Lift cord that lays in middle of Pack 'N Play. Unlock arms of Pack 'N Play, starting with the long arms first. Fold Pack 'N Play. Turn the playard mattress inside out and wrap around the folded Pack 'N Play. Secure with velcro straps. Cover with Pack 'N Play transportation sleeve. Store bassinet component in a safe place for future use.
