How to Dry Vinyl Diaper Covers

Cloth diapers and vinyl covers provide you an alternative solution to diapering your baby with disposable diapers. Not only can you save money by not having to keep disposable diapers on hand at all times, you can also reuse cloth diapers and covers many times, eliminating extra waste. Drying the vinyl covers used with your diapers is quite simple

Things You'll Need

  • Drying rack or clothesline and clothespins

Instructions

    • 1

Wash the vinyl diaper covers as you normally do.

    • 2

Remove the vinyl diaper covers from the washing machine when the washing cycle is complete. Inspect the covers to make sure they̵7;re clean and no soapy residue remains. Shake out any excess water.

    • 3

Lay the vinyl diaper covers out on a drying rack. Alternatively, if using a clothesline, pin each cover to the line with a single clothespin. Don't overlap the covers, as this can add to drying time.

    • 4

Remove the vinyl diaper covers from rack or line when completely dry.
