      During the first week of trying to wean your toddler off the pacifier make sure you allow them to use the binki you purchased for every nap and at night during sleeping hours.

      Begin by allowing the toddler to have the binki at 30 minute random intervals throughout the day. It is important that you do not just give up a binki when your toddler begins to fuss. This is where the patience come in. The child will bein to not throw tantrums just to get a pacifier.

      After the first week or two have passed. It is time to take away the binki throughout the day. Placing the binkis in a safe area only to be used at bedtime.
