Are those pesky monsters keeping you up at night? If you have children chances are at one time or another your home will be invaded by them. If you have tried everything in your power and your child is still afraid of the monster that's ready to pop out when you leave the room, I have the solution.....Monster Spray!
Things You'll Need
- Clean spray bottle
- Water
- Paper
- Printer or Markers
- Glue stick
- Ribbon or String
- hole punch or scissors
- Envelope or Box (Optional)
Instructions
Decorate your spray bottle. This is where you need to take your time. Remember the nicer it looks the better the repellent will work. If you would like to use the image I have included as a label feel free to do so. Just print it out and stick it on with a glue stick. Don't forget the directions, after all the better the illusion the more potent the monster spray will be! You may make your own or use the one I have provided. Let the bottle set until all decorations are dry. Fill bottle with water. Take care not to wet your decorations. Make your hang tag. On your hang tag include a poem or magic words your little one can say while you spray! You may simply print out the one I have here or make your own. Make a hole in the top of your hang tag with your hole punch or scissors, and thread a bit of ribbon or string through it, then tie to your bottle. If you would like add some mail order excitement you can place the monster spray in an envelope or box, and attach a simple make believe shipping label. (See image) I also went so far as to include a letter from the company and a receipt. To use the magical concoction ask your child exactly where it needs to be sprayed. While spraying repeat the magical words that are on the hang tag with your little one. For a peaceful nights sleep, spray as needed.
