How to Create a Pregnancy Calendar

During the 40 weeks of your pregnancy, your mind will be filled with hopes, worries and numerous "to do" lists. Keep everything straight even when the fatigue of pregnancy sets in. Create a calendar to track all of your appointments, record your milestones and save as a keepsake of this momentous time.

      Get a three-ring binder to hold your pregnancy calendar. Print blank calendar sheets on cardstock for durability. Use them to list upcoming obstetrician appointments, pregnancy milestones to look forward to and notes about what you're feeling (see Resources).

      Insert additional blank sheets to the calendar to create a journal of your emotions throughout the pregnancy, discuss your hopes and fears or write letters to your baby. You can also use them to keep track of items you'll need to organize and buy before the baby's born and jot down information that your doctor gives you during your visits.

      Add pages with pockets to hold photos, cards from friends and family and the memorabilia you acquire throughout your pregnancy.

      Buy a blank scrapbook calendar if you'd rather have a traditional calendar to track your important dates and milestones. Use the top portion of each page to adhere a scrapbook layout with your photos and memories from the month. If you're not a scrapbooker, simply adhere photos, cards and memorabilia in the space.

      Save time with a pre-printed pregnancy calendar. In addition to blank calendar pages and spots for journaling, most versions will include information like tips on baby care, what to take to the hospital, baby proofing your home and essentials for the first weeks.
