The joy that comes with learning you are pregnant is often dampened by the fear that you may have a miscarriage. There are several symptoms of a miscarriage. If you experience any of these symptoms and are pregnant, it is best to see your doctor as soon as possible.

Vaginal Bleeding and Discharge

If you experience vaginal bleeding that starts as a brownish discharge then bleeding that seems like a heavy period, please see your doctor. This is a common sign of miscarriage.
Pain

Experiencing pain with vaginal bleeding is another sign of miscarriage. At times bleeding while pregnant can be normal, but often that bleeding is not accompanied with pain. You should be checked out if you experience pain with bleeding.
Blood Clots or Tissue

If you are passing blood clots or pieces of tissue as vaginal discharge, this is a sign of a miscarriage and you need to be seen by a doctor.
Fluid

If, early in the pregnancy, you experience a sudden burst of fluid from your vagina that is not mixed with blood or that causes you pain, you may be having a miscarriage. Only your doctor can diagnosis a miscarriage, so it's important to see him.
Low Back Pain

Many women experience low back pain or twinges of pain when miscarrying. Pain like this does not always mean miscarriage and only a doctor can tell you for certain the cause of said pain.
Loss of Symptoms
