How to Use a Diaper Genie

  • Diaper Genie diaper pail
  • Diaper Genie film refill cartridge
  • Dirty diaper

      Insert the Diaper Genie refill cartridge into the pail. To do this, pull the film up and out of the cartridge and push it down through the hole in the middle. Pull the plastic film down, until it is about as long as the the diaper pail. Step on the foot pedal, put the plastic down into the pail and insert the refill inside the Diaper Genie.

      Roll the dirty diaper up and close the self-adhesive tabs over it, so that it stays rolled up.

      Step on the Diaper Genie's foot pedal to open the lid. Drop the diaper into the Diaper Genie and lift your foot off the foot pedal to close the lid.

      Empty the pail when it becomes full. To open the unit, press the button on the front. Put the top of the bag through the cutter at the top. Pull the film through the cutter, using both hands to cut it. Pull out the full bag and tie it in a knot before throwing it away.

      Pull the film the length of the Diaper Genie and tie the bottom into a knot to get ready to use it again.
