How to Make an Allowance Chore Chart for Your Child
Help motivate your child to put in some extra effort at home with a chore chart that will let him keep track of every task he completes. It will also let him keep track of the amount of money he can look forward to receiving for a job well done. You can fill the chart with his regular chores and check them off as they're finished, or use the chart to keep track of chores your child does above and beyond the basic household requirements.

Instructions
Personalized Chore Chart
Lay the card stock, poster board or plain, white paper on a clean work surface and write the title of the chore chart in marker across the top. Draw three columns across the paper, spacing them out evenly so each column takes up approximately one-third of the page. Divide the center column into two individual columns. You now have a chart with 4 columns. Draw rows across the first 3 columns to create a table. Make each row tall enough to write comfortably. Do not draw the rows through the last column on the right. Write in the labels for each of the columns. Label the first one, "Chores," the second, "Date" and the third column "Allowance." Do not write in the fourth column just yet. Now you can record this information on each row of the chore chart, and you and your child can keep track of the allowance earned by tallying up the dollar amount in the third column. Personalize the chart by having your child decorate the fourth column. You can glue a picture of your youngster in the center of the column and have him embellish the rest with markers, crayons, glitter, stickers or stamps. Dry Erase Chore Chart
Place the dry erase board on your work surface and write the title of the chart with a dry erase marker. Divide the dry erase board into three columns with the colored tape. Make the first column equal to approximately half of the board. Have each of the remaining two columns take up about a quarter of the board. Divide the board further into rows with colored tape. Space the rows far enough apart to write comfortably within each one. Write, ̶0;Chore̶1; at the top of the left column. Write, ̶0;Date Completed̶1; across the top of the second and ̶0;Allowance Amount̶1; across the top of the third. As you assign your child chores, write the chore in the left column and then mark off when it was completed and the pay for the task. When you̵7;ve filled each of the rows, erase the chores and start again.
