Cut a batch of brownies into uniform square or rectangle-shaped pieces. Wrap each individual brownie in clear or colored plastic wrap. Place a layer of brownies in the bottom of a plastic shoe box. Fit the brownies together securely but don't squash them. Cut a piece of corrugated cardboard the same size as the inside of the plastic shoe box. Lay the cardboard on top of the layer of brownies. Place another layer of brownies on top of the cardboard. Top the brownies with another layer of cardboard. Continue layering in this way until the box is full. Snap the lid on the box. Wrap the shoebox in another box with about four inches of space around it. Fill the space in between with packing peanuts, air-popped popcorn or crumbled newspaper to prevent it from shifting while being shipped. Ship to a War Zone
Clean out some empty potato chip cans. Use one can as a cookie cutter to cut out round brownies from your finished pan. Cut the brownie circles as close together as possible to minimize waste. Slip one brownie into the bottom of a potato chip can. Cut a piece of waxed paper the same size around as the brownies. Slide the waxed paper circle down into the can until it rests on top of the brownie. Slip another brownie into the can and top it with another circle of waxed paper. Continue filling the can with alternating layers of brownie and waxed paper. Snap the top on the can when it is full. Package the brownie tubes in a larger box with air-popped popcorn placed between the tubes and the outer box walls.
