Marble Painting for Preschoolers

This preschool art activity involves running paint-soaked marbles across a sheet of paper.

Materials
  • Marbles
  • Tempera paint, liquid
  • Paper
  • Flat box

Directions

  1. Place a piece of paper into a flat box (like the box from a 24- pack of soda).

  2. Have your child drop marbles into various colors of tempera paint, then drop them into the box and roll them across the paper.

  3. Drop some paint onto the paper and have your child roll the marbles across the paint.
