Fun Golf Games for Kids
Golf is called a "gentleman's game" but there's nothing that says kids can't enjoy it, too. While football, baseball, and soccer are clearly the most popular sports for children in America, golf can be a fun, yet relaxing, way to enjoy the outdoors.

The most simple and straightforward game for kids involving golf is Mini Putt. Parents can take their child to the nearest game room or amusement park and probably find a mini golf course. This is an inexpensive way to have fun and spend quality time with your kids.
If you'd rather stay home, retail stores such as Toys R Us sell ready-made kits to entertain your kids for years. Usually, the kits include a pair of oversized, brightly colored golf clubs, some balls, holes, and stickers. Set up the holes around the backyard, give your child the golf clubs, and watch them have fun.
For Older Kids

While golf is primarily an outside game (and it's always better to get kids outside enjoying the fresh air than staying inside the house all day), there are a ton of resources online to get kids to have fun playing golf.
Kaboose.ca out of Canada offers several variations of golf with online games such as Verti Golf, Carpet Golf, and SAB Golf.
PrimaryGames.com hosts longer, more competitive golf games for kids ages 7 and above.
For Teenagers

If a child spends his toddler and elementary school years playing golf and is passionate about it by the time he hits puberty, you should look into youth golf programs geared toward older kids.
HookAKidOnGolf.org is an online resource dedicated to providing "communities with a comprehensive golf youth program that eliminates the obstacles that discourage youngsters from learning and continuing to play golf while instilling in them an understanding of golf's rules, etiquette, and history."
There are news articles about kids in golf, games, fun quizzes, and instructional videos for kids no matter their skill level. If your teenager has made it through childhood and he still likes golf after all the games as a kid, maybe getting him to play on larger courses isn't such a bad idea.
