Road trips are a fun time for families to connect. However, on a long car trip kids will get hungry, usually more often than at home since car trips can be boring. Stopping at fast food restaurants is expensive and not usually healthy. Avoid excess stops by bringing a cooler with juice boxes, water and a variety of healthy and easy to eat snack foods.
