How to Make Paper Reindeer Antlers

Making paper reindeer antlers is an easy and fun holiday craft that takes little time. They're fun to make each year, since the size of your children change, and the craft is simple to repeat.   • Brown construction paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Stapler

Instructions

      Give each child one or two pieces of sturdy brown construction paper and a pencil.

      Have them put their hands on the paper with their fingers spread.

      Trace around their fingers and hand. Cut out each hand.

      Cut a strip of brown construction paper 2 inches wide and 24 inches long. If your paper isn't 24 inches long, cut two strips and staple them together.

      Glue or staple the antlers to the center of the brown strip of construction paper, leaving a little space in between the two antlers. The hands should be placed with thumbs facing each other. If you use glue, let it dry. Once on your child's head, the antlers should be above and just forward of their ears.

      Place the strip around the head of the child and staple the ends together where the headband fits snugly. Trim off the excess. You now have a little reindeer.
