How to Adjust the Straps on a Britax Marathon
When driving a vehicle, you are required by law in all 50 U.S. states to properly secure any children in the car with safety straps or child car seats. Children under 40 pounds and less then four years of age will typically be secured in a car seat, as they are too small for a booster seat or normal safety seat belts. Britax produces a forward- and rear-facing car seat model called the "Marathon." It is vital to properly adjust the straps on the "Marathon" in order to secure your child.
Instructions
Unhook the straps from the metal yoke located at the rear of the seat. Pull the straps toward the front of the child seat until they are completely through the seat shell. Re-thread the straps by passing them through the desired height slot through the seat cover and shell. Reattach the harness straps to the metal yoke located at the back of the seat to complete the strap adjustment. Make sure the straps are not twisted.
