Old Drop Side Crib Instructions
Since 2007, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, or CPSC, has recalled nearly 6 million drop-side cribs. The drop-side cribs have a tendency to be less structurally sound than cribs with non-moving parts, and some infants have been injured and killed from drop-side railings falling or collapsing prematurely. Older drop-side cribs are especially vulnerable to disrepair since they were manufactured before many safety requirements were enacted. To prevent disrepair, it is important that you raise and lower the drop-side rail correctly.
