How to Convert a Baby's Dream Serenity Crib to a Toddler Bed
The Baby's Dream Serenity bed can stay with your child from the time they're a newborn into their adulthood. The Serenity bed can be configured as a crib, toddler bed and adult bed. To convert the crib into a toddler bed, you will need some of the parts included in the box. If you have misplaced the original materials, you will need to contact Baby's Dream Furniture, Inc. to order replacement parts.
Things You'll Need
- 2 dowels
- 2 - 60 mm bolts
- Allen wrench
Instructions
Remove the mattress, bedding and other other accessories from the crib. Remove the screws securing the front frame of the bed with an Allen wrench. Move the mattress support brackets into the lowest height position with your hands. Locate the dowels with the two tension pens in each end. The dowels are long, circular objects that came with the crib. Place the flat-side of the dowel against the two empty screws hole on the left and right side of the mattress support rail. Pull the tension pins out of the dowel with your hand. Secure the dowel to the screw holes in the mattress support using the included 60 mm bolts and the Allen wrench. The crib is now ready to be used as a toddler bed.
