How to Cure/Prevent Cradle Cap

If you have an infant you may have a problem with cradle cap. The flaking of the scalp that an infant gets due to rubbing their head on the crib mattress. Some forms of cradle cap may be caused by fungus, but the most common kind is easily cured.

Things You'll Need

  • A soft baby brush
  • Baby shampoo
  • Baby lotion

      Lather the baby's head with baby shampoo.

      Using the soft baby brush, scrub the area in a circular motion with the baby shampoo.

      Rinse, and then apply baby lotion, or baby oil.
