How to Wash Bottles
When you have a small baby, washing bottles can take quite a bit of time. However, it is easy to do, and by carefully cleaning the bottles, you can be sure that your baby will have a clean bottle for her formula or breast milk.
If possible, use organic biodegradable dish soap to wash your baby's bottles. This reduces the chance of chemical residues remaining on the bottles.

Instructions
Washing Bottles
Wash your hands with soap and warm water. Then wash the bottles with the mild dish soap, bottle brush and warm water. Be sure to wash the rims, nipples and collars carefully, since formula and breast milk tend to get encrusted in these areas. Alternatively, put everything in the top rack of the dishwasher and wash. Rinse the bottles thoroughly with hot water and place on a clean towel to dry. Ensure that all the water has drained from the bottles. Boil water in a large pot on the stove. When the water has reached a full boil, carefully put the bottles, nipples, collars and lids in the water. Boil for 5 to 10 minutes. You can also use a bottle sterilization kit that sterilizes everything in the microwave. Remove the bottles, using tongs and place on a clean towel to dry. Be sure that all the water drains from the bottles. When they have cooled enough to handle, cap the bottles. Try to avoid touching the nipple or inside of the bottles because these are now sterile.
