Things You'll Need
- Towel or plastic cape Spray bottle filled with warm water Comb Hair-cutting scissors
Instructions
Choose a time of day when your baby is in a good mood and feeling calm. After a nap or when she's just been fed is best. Seat your baby in a high chair and drape a towel or plastic cape around his shoulders. Spray your baby's hair with warm water. Spray the comb with water or use a damp cloth to gently moisten her hair if she dislikes the feeling of having her hair sprayed. Start with the hair around the ears. Comb your baby's hair, then take a lock of hair between your forefinger and middle finger. Slide your fingers gently down the lock. Once you reach the desired length, cut the hair that extends beyond your fingers. Cut the hair at the nape of the neck and around the skull by using the process outlined in step 4. Cut the bangs. Comb the hair onto the forehead and cut in a straight line.
