Chariot Infant Sling Instructions
Adapting the Chariot Carrier for infant use can be accomplished simply by installing the Chariot infant sling. The padded infant sling provides a cushion of support for the baby too small to support himself on stroller rides. The sling holds the baby in a safe and natural position for maximum comfort and security.
Attaching the infant sling to the Chariot single-wide Carrier is a simple task that can be accomplished in a matter of minutes.

Instructions
Installing the Infant Sling
Locate the bolt or hole on the inside front corner of the frame. If there is a bolt, remove it. Use that bolt to attach the D-ring below the bar of the frame so the ring faces the rear of the Carrier. On older Carriers, use the bolt, washer and nut supplied with the infant sling to attach the D-ring. Unbuckle and remove the shoulder harness. Position the infant sling inside the Carrier so the padded side faces the front or bottom of the Carrier. Loosely loop the lower black straps through the D-rings and back through the buckles. Close the Carrier partially. Loop the upper straps behind the upper bar, around to the front, and through the buckles. Reopen the Carrier and tighten all straps slightly. Reinstall the shoulder harness by inserting the upper buckles of the harness through the slits in the infant sling. Select the appropriate holes for the height of your child. Reconnect the shoulder harness buckles to the Carrier behind the infant sling. Connect the Carrier's lap belt to the infant sling by buckling both Carrier lap belt straps to the side buckles on the sling. Adjust the straps to position the infant sling to your liking. Tighten all straps. Pull the crotch strap up through the lower slit on the infant sling. Run the strap under the elastic band on top of the crotch pad. Adjust all straps as necessary for safety and comfort.
