When Do Toddlers Cut Their Final Baby Molar Teeth?

Each infant will experience five stages of teething. Babies are born with 20 teeth nicely hidden below the surface of their gums. The second set of molars are always the last to come in and sometimes the most painful. So, it's best to be prepared as to how to sooth a child's discomfort as the molars come through.

    May Cause Fussing

    • For those parents noticing some fussing after their child's second birthday, this may very well be due to the second molars coming through. Children experiencing discomfort from their second molars coming in may not want to eat their normal diet and may drool to some extent.
