Easy Easter Eggs

Decorate some foam eggs for Easter. Make Easter eggs a simple way for the little ones. Use washable markers, stickers, glitter, and ribbon to decorate some plastic foam eggs. Celebrate the Easter tradition with a lot of color and activity. Toddlers enjoy this activity because they can see some quick results of their art, and this will keep their interest. Easter Bunny Printables

Print out an Easter bunnies for your toddlers to color. Find a picture of a bunny's head. Look on the Internet or in a coloring book. Trace on cardboard to make a template. Help your toddler cut out many different colors of the bunny. You can draw a face on them and attach to some boiled eggs. Or, you could make Easter garland by cutting many of these Easter bunnies out. Staple them to a pretty colored ribbon. Toddlers enjoy decorating for the upcoming Easter celebration and will take pleasure in others seeing their work displayed in their home.
Bunny Ears

Wear bunny ears to celebrate Easter. Add to your toddler's holiday fun by making some Easter bunny ears. This is a fairly simple and easy project. Measure and cut 2 inches by 24 inches of white poster board, and measure around the child's head. Staple or tape the ends together. Draw some bunny ears on the white poster board add some pink construction paper for the inside of the ear. Let the child do the gluing for the ears. Staple, tape or glue to the base. Toddlers like to wear bunny ears and hop around inside and outside.
Egg Carton Cross

Save your egg cartons for arts and crafts. Make a cross using egg cartons. You will need some fabric, tacky glue, ribbon, lace and egg cartons, and some decorative silk flowers. Just cut the egg carton into sections of five and six. Glue the middle one of the five-section piece inside of the six-section to form a cross. Have your toddler wrap the cross with fabric and lace. Now she can add the final touches with some pretty ribbon and silk flowers to make a beautiful cross. Making the cross for the toddler can lead to many questions of what Easter means. This craft can be the base of an Easter lesson that children will enjoy.
