Easter Bunny Art for Toddlers
When Easter time arrives, your toddler probably cannot wait until the arrival of the Easter bunny to bring him a basket full of all kinds of goodies. The bunny's fluffy fur, floppy ears and signature hop are fascinating to young children's eyes. Prepare him for Easter time by letting him create his own bunny-themed art.

Fuzzy Bunny
-
A bunny̵7;s fuzzy coat is soft to touch for a toddler's small hands. Let her recreate her own fuzzy bunny at home. Show her how to draw a large circle on white construction paper and a smaller circle overlapping it. The large circle will serve as the bunny̵7;s body and the smaller one will be its head. Put drops of glue on several cotton balls. Let her glue the cotton balls to the large circle until the circle is filled. Let dry. Have her draw ears, whiskers and ears on the smaller circle for the bunny̵7;s face. She can draw grass and a blue sky to complete her artwork. Let her pet her cotton ball bunny.
Bunny Bag
-
Your toddler will need something handy in which to store his Easter treats. Let him create a simple treat bag. Cut a semi-circle shape out of the top of a paper bag. Have him draw a bunny face on the front of the bag. Overlap the sides for bunny ears and glue them together. Paste a cotton ball on the back of the bag for the bunny̵7;s tail. Fill the bottom of the bag with plastic grass. As he collects Easter eggs during a hunt, let him place them inside his treat bag for storage.
Handprint Bunny
-
You can make a handprint from your toddler's own hand and you can transform it to resemble a bunny rabbit. Place her hand on white construction paper and trace it. Cut the hand print out. Fold the thumb, index and pinky fingers inward and glue to create the bunny's head. Have her color the insides of the ring and middle fingers pink. Let her draw eyes, nose, mouth and whiskers on the bunny. Punch a hole in the top and tie a string through it to make it an ornament. You can hang it as a keepsake every year for Easter.
Bunny Mask
-
Your toddler can complete an Easter costume by creating her own mask with paper plates. Let her paint the back of a paper plate white. Let dry. Draw two circles in the center of the plate for eyes and a semi-circle for a mouth. Cut the circles out. Have her glue a pink circle above the mouth as a nose and glue pieces of black yarn on next to it for whiskers. Glue oval shapes from white construction paper to the paper plate for ears. Punch holes in the sides and string yarn through. Tie the completed mask around her head and let her pretend to be the Easter bunny.
