Peg Perego Pliko Instructions

The Peg Perego Pliko stroller provides extra storage and allows busy moms and dads to travel in comfort. The stroller can fold, unfold and even allows one child to stand on the back while another rides in the front. Learning how to properly use the Peg Perego Pliko ensures your child's safety and lightens the load when you're out for a walk. Find out how to assemble, disassemble, and use the various parts of the Peg Perego stroller.

  1. Basic Assembly

    • For the first time assembly, remove the protective hooks found on the ends of the stroller pieces. The pieces will not fit together with the hooks still attached. Lift the stroller into the air by the handles, pulling up on them. The bottom of the stroller will swing into place. Check that the pieces you removed the hooks from have completely slid into place and are not sticking out at an angle. Attach the wheels if they are not already attached.

To use the hood, unzip it and allow it to hang over the front of the stroller. A piece on the side can be pushed down to open the hood or pushed up to pull the hood back. The lever on the back of the stroller's wheels is the brake. Always push the brake all the way down when the stroller is not in use and lift it up again when you need to use the stroller.

    Daily Usage

    • Open the stroller and double check the safety belt is not loose. Strap the child into the front of the stroller first before allowing the second child to climb onto the footrests on the back. Never let a child stand on the back when you are not with the stroller or there is no child in the front seat. Adjust the handles by pushing in the buttons on the side and sliding them up or down as needed. Unlock the two front swiveling wheels by pushing the lever on them down with your foot.

    Transportation and Cleaning

    • To fold the stroller, push the lever on the front wheels up, to lock them in place. According to the Peg Perego instruction manual, you'll need to loosen the braces that hold the hood on and raise the backrest if it has been put down during use. Pull the lever on each handle up and stroller will begin to fold. Grip the handle located in the center of the back of the stroller and pull up until the entire stroller folds in half.

The instruction manual recommends giving wheels and other moving or sliding parts a light oiling occasionally to keep them from sticking. Keep the stroller dry and wipe off fabric and plastic parts with a mildly damp washcloth. Store the stroller in a dry area out of direct sunlight when not in use and avoid taking the stroller out in bad weather. The manual warns that the plastic or fabric on the stroller may change color over time from exposure to sunlight.
