Look for a camp that also provides therapy for campers. Research shows that many teens overeat due to emotional or psychological issues. A diet camp with a therapist on staff can help the teens work through their issues. Research the activities at the teen diet camp. To lose weight, the teens engage in numerous outdoor activities. Look for a camp that offers a wide variety of sports, like hiking, rafting and mountain climbing. Choose a camp that has an aftercare program.
