Baby Shower Games to Play With Mother

Baby showers are a priority among first-time mothers and involve lots of friends, food and entertaining games. There are a number of games that women play at their baby showers, including Make the Baby, Place the Baby on the Mommy and Guess the Baby.   1. Belly Size Guessing Game

    • Each woman at the baby shower pulls yarn to the length that she believes will fit around the expectant mother's belly. Everyone cuts their string to the length they chose, and then the mother tries to fit each string around her belly. The woman who picked the closest length wins a prize.

    Make the Baby Game

    • The women at the baby shower split into teams of three, and each team is given three baby magazines. The women must then find and cut out baby facial features to create an image of what they think the expectant mother's baby will look like. The mother then chooses which image she feels her baby may look like, and the winning team gets prizes.

    Place the Baby on the Mommy

    • This game is the baby shower version of Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Every player gets blindfolded and must take a cutout of a baby and tape it to the expectant mother's belly. Whoever places the baby picture closest to the mother's tummy wins a prize.

    Guess the Baby

    • Everyone must bring their own baby picture to the baby shower. The party planner makes a collage of all of the baby pictures, along with a space below each picture for the women to guess who is who. Whoever guesses the most baby pictures correctly wins a prize.
