Stokke Parasol Instructions

The Norwegian company Stokke manufactures a wide variety of children's furniture and equipment. Among its Xplory product line accessories is an adjustable parasol available in a variety of colors, including light green, green, beige, blue, red, purple, orange and dark navy. Used specifically with the seat and carry cot, or baby bag, the parasol shades your baby from bright light and offers SPF 50 UVA/UVB protection. The parasol attaches to the seat or cot without tools and detaches with the push of a button for effortless installation and storage.

Instructions

      Slide the tapered plastic end of the flexible Stokke parasol adapter completely into the adapter hole on either side of the carry cot or seat. Push it into the hole until you feel it lock in place.

      Insert the tapered plastic end of the parasol into the hole on the top of the adapter.

      Open the parasol as you would a traditional umbrella: grasp the runner and slide it up the pole until it locks in the open position.

      Move the adjustable canopy into a position that shades your child.

      Close the parasol when you no longer need to use it. Push the release button inside the cot or seat to unlock the adapter. Pull the adapter and parasol away. Disconnect the two pieces and store as desired.
